We collect information that you provide directly to us when you create an account, participate in tournaments, or communicate with us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, and sports-related interests.

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and provide the features and functionality of the SportsBuddy platform, including:

Managing tournament registrations and schedules.
Providing personalized sports analytics and insights.
Communicating with you about updates and community events.
Ensuring the security and integrity of our platform.

3. Data Security

We implement robust security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Our platform uses enterprise-grade encryption and secure architecture standards.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can manage your account settings within the platform or contact our support team for assistance with data-related requests.

5. Strava (Optional)

You can connect Strava in the SportsBuddy app (Profile, then CONNECTED APPS, then Connect with Strava). You sign in on Strava and allow SportsBuddy to upload activities. We post an activity only when you tap Share to Strava on one of your own matches. It holds your match stats, the result, the tournament name and a link to the scorecard on sportsbuddy.live.

While you are connected we keep the access keys Strava gives us and your Strava athlete number.
For a match you post, we keep its Strava activity number for 48 hours, so you can open it from the app, and the date you shared it.
We never store your Strava name, photo or any other Strava data, and we never use Strava data for advertising or AI.
To stop, tap Disconnect under CONNECTED APPS, or remove SportsBuddy in your Strava settings. Either way our access ends and we delete everything above. Deleting your SportsBuddy account does the same.
Activities you already posted stay on your Strava. You can delete them there.
